Join us July 8-13 for an amazing week in Northern California where you will get to hang out with friends, swim and play in beautiful Lake Shasta, experience life on a houseboat, and deepen your relationship with God!

Trip Details

 Dates: July 8-13, 2019

Registration deadline is Thursday, April 25th

Every year we partner with Sonshine Ministries, a camping ministry in Northern California, who hosts our group and provides staff and operators for the houseboats. You can find more information about them here.

To complete the registration, every participant must:

  1. Fill out and submit this online registration form

  2. Fill out and submit a Medical Information Form (below) if you have not already for the 2018-2019 school year.

  3. Download the Registration Packet (below), print and fill it out, and either mail it back or deliver it to the church office. Original hard copy forms are required for all participants - forms that are scanned and returned via email will not be accepted.

  4. Submit the $200 non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of the trip.


Cost

The cost of the trip is $700 ($200 of which is due at the time of registration). There will be an additional $50-$200 transportation fee, the exact amount will be determined by the total number of participants. An email notification about the transportation fee payment will go out after the registration deadline.

The full balance is due Thursday, May 9th.

All payments can be made online or by check. Please make checks payable to Mercer Island Presbyterian Church. Checks can be mailed or turned in at the church office:

Scholarships:

Partial scholarships are available after the $200 deposit for all participants on a completely confidential basis. Please indicate interest on the registration form.


Wait list

This trip has limited spots available.

Each houseboat hosts twelve students, in addition to adult leaders and staff. We currently have two houseboats reserved. In order to reserve additional houseboats we must be able to completely fill them with registered students at the time of the reservation. Participants on the wait list will be added to the trip in groups of twelve. Participants who are not moved off the waitlist this year will receive their $200 deposit back.


Forms

An updated medical information form and release is needed for each student that participates in activities with the Student Ministries Department.  

If you already submitted an up-to-date online medical form during the 2018-2019 school year, you do not need to re-submit.


Print and fill out these forms in their entirety and either mail them back to us or drop them off in the church office.
