VBS School Supply Sorting

VBS Kids Backpack Project

Summer Vacation Bible School participants pack backpacks and school supplies for 100 low income kids who receive mentoring from Friends of the Children. Separate bags are prepared for elementary, middle, and high school. Proceeds from our May church rummage sale provide funding for this great project.

CLOTHING DRIVE FOR LIBERIA

Please bring gently used or new clothing for the children in Liberia Africa. Boxes are located outside the Community Life Center and the Sanctuary. Collecting from September - October.

Thanksgiving Family Mission Project

Every November, our congregation donates non-perishable food items for ready to make Thanksgiving meals. MIPC kids in Kindergarten - 5th grade decorate grocery bags, sort and bag the items. Our 4th and 5th graders pick up turkeys and pies and deliver 80 ready to cook Thanksgiving meals to First Place School, a Seattle school for low income families.  4th and 5th graders tour the school and learn about their mission to provide hope, home, and education for every child.
