Freshman Confirmation Class

Confirmation is a four month program where students will have the opportunity to build a stronger foundation for exploring their faith through honest dialogue, service opportunities, asking lots of questions together and hearing from many different perspectives.

During Confirmation, we will be meeting in and out of the classroom to discuss our faith, encounter God, and discover what it is that we believe. Joining the class means that there is a desire to explore what relevance God and the church hold for students as they seek to build their own identity.  Confirmation includes weekly classes, 2 weekend retreats, and a Mission Project during Mid-Winter Break to Portland, Oregon.  The target age for Confirmation is 9th grade, but it is open to other students who may not have previously participated in a confirmation program.

The Confirmation Program runs October-February.

Confirmation: If you missed your opportunity to participate in Confirmation during your 9th grade year, you are welcome to participate during 10th grade. See the blurb on Confirmation above.

Student Leadership:  In the 2017/18 school year, we are excited to open up our student leadership program to 10th grade students! See the "Student Leadership" section below for details.

Small Groups

A great way to stay involved with the ROCK is to join a small group! These are led by ROCK staff, adult volunteers and even members of our Student Leadership program. Groups meet at various times and locations. Small Groups meet throughout the week, and are divided by gender and grade! If you are not part of a small group and would like to be, then please contact Chris McLaughlin.
