Team MIPC | AIDS Walk
10/4/2008 9:00 AM (PST)  - 1 hour

Saturday, October 4, 2008 | Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill | 9:00 a.m.

On Saturday, October 4, we will have a chance to visibly and actively show our support as Team MIPC walks for the second time in the 22nd Seattle AIDS Walk. You can help Team MIPC with a donation or by walking and raising funds to support the Seattle community as you participate in this special event. Your participation is welcome and vital.

We invite you to join us on this journey as we walk together in support of those who are not able to walk for themselves. Here in King County, 10,000 people are living with HIV/AIDS. Many have died, many are newly infected, and many more will become infected in the near future as this virus, which knows no social or economic boundaries, continues to spread.

If you have questions or would like to find out more about Team MIPC and its commitment, please e-mail cartercase@comcast.net  or call Steve or Carter Case at home, 206-232-3225.

This will be another important step to show how deeply MIPC cares about the local HIV/AIDS community.

Our goal is to raise funds and awareness in the battle against HIV and AIDS in the Puget Sound region.

Any gift you can offer, large or small, will go to directly support the vital care services offered by Lifelong AIDS Alliance. Lifelong provides a variety of care services to folks battling chronic illness, including food, housing, and insurance assistance.

Please sponsor our efforts as we walk to honor those who have been affected by the disease and to offer hope for a future without AIDS. You can easily sponsor one of our walkers or make a gift to the team as a whole.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
