8:15am Music Team

8:15am Music Team is a group of vocalists and instrumentalists who add an element of more contemporary music to our 8:15AM breakfast service. This group is a mix of adults and youth, leading this worship, which is geared toward families. The group rehearses each week on Thursdays at 5:45PM in the Fellowship Hall and is led by Cheryl Storey, Director of Music Ministries.

The breakfast service welcomes new musicians to serve in worship!  Please fill out our interest form and return to Cheryl Storey by email at cheryls@mipc.org or download the form and leave it in her MIPC office mailbox.

Have You Been to Breakfast Lately?

When you next attend the Breakfast service, you may notice a few changes.  Almost all the musicians have moved off the stage and down on the platform to bring the music closer to the people.  We hope this creates a better feel of community, offering more support as we sing together. Please let us know what you think of the changes and whether or not you find it helpful to your worship.  Your ideas for enhancing our worship experience are always welcome.  The music team at 8:15 is also including more instruments on a regular basis, which makes the music more interesting and varied.  If you can offer your instrument in a rotation on Sunday mornings, please let us know.  We would love to include you in our rotation monthly or more or less often, according to your personal schedule.
