PESHASTIN TRIP: MIPC Family* Missions Trip| July 23-27

*Family means singles, couples, younger, older, with kids, without kids... This means you!

We can be involved in missions in Washington State as well as in Seattle and the world. We can build a house, do VBS, plan a carnival in partnership with the United Church in Peshastin who has invited us join them in these projects. We can reach out to the local Latino community there -  develop friendships with them and each other.
We are called to try to be a blessing in the community and in the world.

• Team 1: Outreach and Hospitality - Work together with a church partner in Peshastin to plan and make a Saturday night dinner and set up a children’s carnival as outreach to the Latino community there, and have three mornings of VBS.

or

• Team 2: House Building - Work on a Habitat for Humanity house in Peshastin

(Both teams will have free time in the afternoon, and we plan to take advantage of the community pool there, inviting the our friends in Peshastin to come with us)

Choose your own accommodations in Leavenworth or plan to stay at our partner church where there is a shower in the basement. Sign up soon. Deadline is May 30.  Rooms are at a premium in Leavenworth in the summer. Look online for ideas of where you can stay or go to visitleavenworth.com.

Cost is $125 for ages 10 and up. This price includes 4 breakfasts, 4 lunches, and 3 dinners; pool fees, snacks, vbs and carnival expenses, and a donation to the church for hosting us. This is a great time to introduce your children to mission, join a smaller church in outreach to their community, or work on a Habitat house.
We will come together in the evenings for community time.
