Adult Community Life
We are blessed with a wonderful church community at Mercer Island Presbyterian Church – find new ways to explore that community with many different offerings from Adult Community Life.
MIPC is a great place to meet others with similar interests and help celebrate the church’s life together. The Adult Community Life (ACL) committee helps sponsor events and small groups that provide ways for MIPC adults to build relationships, become more connected, and have fun together. This year at MIPC has been a time of strong focus on adults, so this is a great time to try new things and enjoy time together!

MIPC Walks 2008
Report on MIPC Walk around Lake Union, April 12th.
20 eager walkers, one baby in a stroller, and one very well behaved dog participated on a perfect spring day. Including some small meanders, Joe Fielding measured the distance at 6.9 mis. We enjoyed good company and conversation, exercise, sunshine, and seeing all the unusual activity along the shore of this busy lake. An hour for small groups to find lunch in Fremont provided a bit of rest and refreshment for the last leg south along Westlake. Great, great day, and home as promised by 1:30. One walker sheepishly confessed to turning down a Dali Lama ticket offer in order to come walking.
Next month, desert flowers above the Yakima River, May 3rd.
Men’s Mexico House-building Trip - October 2008
Men’s Mexico Mission Project 2007: God did amazing things in the lives of 18 MIPC men who set aside 5 days to partner in the building of 2 homes for families in need and growing in friendships with Christ and with each other. The trip exceeded all expectations and we look forward to seeing how God will continue the good work begun on this trip.
